How to Download

  1. The Heritage Bible
We suggest that you start with downloading the entire Heritage Bible Translation to your computer, and constantly read The Heritage Bible in your regular Bible reading, Bible study, and your lesson and message preparation. Print out the section of the Bible you are using and take it to your class or pulpit to use in your giving the lesson or message.

The Notes in The Heritage Bible
Constantly read and study the Notes at the bottom of the pages in The Heritage Bible. The Notes are an education in themselves. If you read The Heritage Bible and study all the Notes in The Heritage Bible from Genesis to Revelation the Notes themselves provide you with over 1,000 pages of normal size type of Bible knowledge and wisdom.

  2. The Training Manuals
The Training Manuals were developed during the process of over fifty years of pastoral ministry for training pastors to win people to faith in Jesus Christ and then disciple those new believers into effective and mature followers of Jesus Christ with a balanced and effective knowledge and use of the Bible, the Word of God.

Since the Heritage Bible materials are free and will be used by both pastors with training and new believers with little or no training let us make a few suggestions we believe will be of great benefit to you.

    1. The Church Member’s Manual
We suggest that everyone, pastor and new Christian, begin with regular reading of The Heritage Bible with its Notes and a thorough study of the eight basic lessons in The Church Member’s Manual. The Church Member’s Manual has the basics with which everyone should be thoroughly saturated. Read the Manual, and look up the Scripture verses in your Bible, mark the verses in the Bible you use regularly, and make notes in your Bible as to things The Heritage Bible makes clear or different from the way it is in the translation you use. The most important skill you will ever develop is the spiritual skill of effectively using your Bible.

One of the best ways for the pastor to benefit himself and his congregation is for the pastor to teach the lessons in The Church Member’s Manual. As the pastor teaches the lessons, he learns them better than anyone, because he has to know them well enough to teach them. These eight lessons cover all the big subjects of life, and should be the foundation knowledge and wisdom of every believer’s life.

In my own pastoral experience I taught these lessons to all new believers. I taught each week the lessons consecutively, one through eight, and after eight weeks began with lesson one again. When a person made a profession of faith and began to attend he/she attended the lesson being taught for that week. If he/she began on lesson four, he/she would continue to attend lessons five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, and then graduate from the church member’s class. This way as pastor I was sure the new believers were well instructed in the Word of God, and I had an opportunity to get to know them and establish a good relationship with them at the beginning. Then they could learn much more from my regular messages, because they knew me and they had a good foundation in the Word of God and use of their Bible.

    2. The Pastor’s Manual
The Pastor’s Manual is written primarily for the pastor to give him the instruction, training, knowledge and wisdom, faith and inspiration he needs to stay ahead of the congregation, to have godly character, to be the genuine man of God he should be, and have fresh messages from God regularly for his congregation. Every pastor should literally saturate himself with the over 400 pages that are in The Pastor’s Manual.

If a pastor teaches the lessons in The Pastor’s Manual to his congregation, and I think he should, he should adapt them to the regular believer because the pastor does stand in a unique position as the under-shepherd of the sheep, but anyone who simply wants to be the best follower of Jesus that he can be will be greatly benefited by mastering these messages.

    3. The Manual on Inspiration of the Bible
Everyone should study The Manual on the Inspiration of the Bible, but especially all pastors and all assistant Christian workers. Any believer who is serious about studying the Bible should study this manual thoroughly. It gives you a working knowledge from the Bible itself of how God gave us the only God-breathed Book in the universe.

    4. The Bible Manual on Health
      The Bible Manual on Health
is knowledge and wisdom for everyone to gain health and longevity in order to serve God in good health for as many years as possible. It is especially needful for pastors to have and practice this knowledge and wisdom so as to give a good example to the congregation, and to enjoy uninterrupted health so as to serve God and his people without interference from sickness.

  3. The Expositor’s Sermon Library

The Expositor’s Sermon Library is in the process of being placed on The Cathedral University website. This consists of (at present) a dozen or more books of messages on various books of the Bible that I have preached and published down through the years. They have to be scanned and edited for present day format, because various ones from the fifties to the seventies were typed on typewriter or type set on the old linotype machines and printed, and the old printing is the only form in which they exist and were never put on computer. So they have to be scanned and edited. Some were created in the earliest computers which files can no longer be read, so the old printed copies are the only ones available. Some are still on audio tape and have never been transcribed. But I have fresh and inspiring expositions of every verse in the Bible and if the Lord tarries all of it will ultimately be published in The Expositor’s Sermon Library. In the meantime, we shall make those available to you as we can.

Messages on both Job and Daniel are now available, and cover the entirety of both books chapter by chapter and verse by verse in sermon form appropriate for your messages in your regular church services. Expository sermons on other books of the Bible will be posted periodically.

Use of Materials - You are hereby given the right to use any and all of these messages in your sermons and teachings any way you see fit. You are also given the right to print these materials and use for your personal use and in any classes you teach. You are hereby forbidden to sell these materials for profit. You may ask your people to contribute toward your cost of printing for their use.

Instructor/Trainer - You may use our materials to train others and be an instructor of the Cathedral University materials. It is our mission and hope to provide materials to pastors, ministers, and believers all over the world. At no cost we will provide certificates to you for each person that you train with your name on the certificate as the instructor.
We ask each instructor to submit a letter in writing with your biography, salvation experience and baptism, and a brief statement of your beliefs and practices.
Although you are an instructor of the Cathedral University we do not have any agents, employees, or affiliates directly associated with Cathedral University.

Affiliation - Those that train with or use our materials are not associated with or directly affiliated with Cathedral University.

Privacy Statement - Please be assured that any information shared with this ministry will remain private. Your prayer requests, email addresses, and any other information shared with our ministry unless court ordered to do so.
