The Church Member's Manual contains eight chapters designed to be taught in a class setting for new members or for the entire membership. But the full treatment of each subject covers so many Scriptures and points of extreme importance that if the pastor preached the messages the material would constitute two or three times that many extremely important messages, such as, a full statement of faith stating in compact form all your major beliefs, welcome to a fellowship of love, exactly how to be saved, understanding your salvation experience and having assurance of salvation, the meaning of baptism, the full doctrine of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, the doctrine of sin, the doctrine of the incarnation, the doctrines of the cross, the gospel, faith, the new birth, the security of the believer, how to be a living part of the church, what constitutes a church a church, the spiritual birth, the fullness or the baptism of the Holy Spirit for power, baptism and the Lord's Supper, proper respect and follow-ship of God's ordained ministers, the pastor and his assistant ministers, the headship of Christ, the priesthood of the believer, supporting your pastor and your church with your tithes and offerings, understanding the Holy Spirit and the Spirit filled life, living the Christ-life at home, male and female, holy matrimony, adultery and fornication, how to deal with healing of marriages and divorce, biblical definition of love, how to be a good witness and soul winner, memorizing the plan of salvation to explain to others, looking forward to the second coming of Christ, being informed on what the Bible teaches about His second coming and the end times, etc. This not a full listing of the table of contents, but a running summary of what is included in The Church Member's Manual, with full Scripture references of many passages where the particular teaching is stated and explained. if the pastor felt led of God to do so, there are enough messages here alone for an entire year of preaching, all of which is outlined in detail with appropriate Scripture references for every point.
